For the comprehensive renovation of a terrace house on Lake Zurich, interior designer Peter Peters Interiors developed a high-end concept that combines a sense of calm, comfort, and a connection to nature. Earthy tones, wood, stone, and continuous smoked oak are complemented by bespoke built-ins and a precisely designed lighting concept. The custom-made, hand-knotted rugs by Negra carpet & home — produced in special colors to match the interior — add warmth, structure, acoustic quality, and a personal signature to the open living space.

For the grand opening of the IWC Schaffhausen boutique in Zurich, we selected rugs with contrasting colors in various designs and qualities, perfectly matching the interior.

High above Lake Zurich, the living space of this private house in Wollerau opens towards the water through floor-to-ceiling windows. The interior is deliberately calm: light upholstered furniture, a solid dark-wood coffee table, sheer curtains and a wallpaper of delicate blossoming branches. The rug takes up the mood of the view — the blue of the lake and the grey of the sky in shimmering passages, set against warm sand tones. Its abstract design, reminiscent of weathered stone, draws the seating area together and gives the open room warmth and a quiet centre.
