What the cabin demands
Six constraints that shape the design before styling begins.
Weight per square metre
In the cabin, weight is a hard limit, not a variable to trade off. We design pile mass and backing to the target weight and state it for each specification.
Fire safety
Cabin furnishings must meet aviation fire safety requirements (FAR/CS 25.853). Certification is the completion centre’s responsibility — we supply specifications suitable for certification and the material documentation required for it.
Cut-outs around seat rails
Seat rails, panelling and floor outlets require cut-outs to the millimetre. We manufacture from the cabin drawing or from a template.
Quick fixing for maintenance
The floor has to come out quickly for maintenance and go back in just as quickly. Hook-and-loop or stud fixing instead of adhesive, segmented along access points.
Service life and replacement
Cabin rugs are replaced more often than floor coverings on the ground. We set up construction and documentation so an identical rebuild remains possible years later.
Working with the completion centre
We work directly with the completion centre or maintenance organisation: data sheets, material details and delivery dates go where the approval is produced.

The schedule follows the aircraft’s downtime window.
