Hand-knotted rugs in Philadelphia and the surrounding area
Minima in Philadelphia is an address for anyone in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania looking for a fine hand-knotted rug. Here you can see pieces from the NEGRA collections in full size, in daylight and up close — from calm, plain rugs to designer pieces in wool and silk with up to 1.5 million knots per square metre.
Whatever is not on display, we source through our gallery in Zurich: other sizes, colourways or a bespoke rug made to your wishes. The full range is open to you here as well.
About Minima
Since 1999, Minima has been a showroom for contemporary design in Philadelphia, presenting furniture, lighting and home accessories from its flagship location in Old City. Led by owners Eugenie Perret and Michael Schmick, the house also offers interior design services and a trade program; the brands it represents include Minotti.
Our collections
Eight proprietary collections, most of them hand-knotted or hand-woven. A selection is on display at Minima; we are happy to show you any other piece.
