Hand-knotted rugs in Delémont and the surrounding area
Villat Meubles SA in Delémont is an address for anyone in the canton of Jura and the Bernese Jura looking for a fine hand-knotted rug. Here you can see pieces from the NEGRA collections in full size, in daylight and up close — from calm, plain rugs to designer pieces in wool and silk with up to 1.5 million knots per square metre.
Whatever is not on display, we source through our gallery in Zurich: other sizes, colourways or a bespoke rug made to your wishes. The full range is open to you here as well.
About Villat Meubles SA
Villat Meubles is a second-generation family business, founded in 1960 by cabinetmaker Fernand Villat in Buix; the Delémont store followed in the 1980s. In 2022 the Delémont showroom was extended by 1,500 m² over three levels. The house offers home furniture across a range of styles and budgets and, since the 1990s, office furniture for companies and public institutions.
Our collections
Eight proprietary collections, most of them hand-knotted or hand-woven. A selection is on display at Villat Meubles SA; we are happy to show you any other piece.
